HTC TyTN: ‘Titan’ Of The Smartphones

April 11, 2007

‘Titan’… a person or thing of enormous size, strength, power, influence, etc, that’s the dictionary meaning of the word.
A few months back, HTC launched a Smartphone under the brand name HTC TyTN (pronounced as HTC ‘titan’). This Smartphone is indeed big on ‘communication strength and power’…but not at all enormous in size. Though it is a bit bulky, the enhanced connectivity features compensates for that very well.
TyTN is a 3G-enabled pocket PC. It is compact, yet offers substantial range of connectivity options.

HTC TyTN supports tri-band UMTS, quad-band EDGE, Infrared, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technologies. All these technologies ensure that one stays in touch with his/her near and dear ones wherever he/she be in the world.

The Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system allows you to do the following:

  • access and edit of Microsoft documents (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • view PDF files
  • browse the Web by using the Internet Explorer
  • listen to music with the Windows Media Player
  • chat with your near and dear ones with MSN messenger and Hotmail

HTC TyTN has a sufficiently large screen display that enables you to view Web pages and documents with convenience.

HTC has indeed chosen a very appropriate word to coin the name of this Smartphone. It is a titan of the Smartphones that outshines its counterparts with its 3G capabilities and the latest connectivity features.
